Senator Sessions asked the tough questions . . .

and Sotomayor did a dismal job answering them. What does this mean? It means the "state-run" media will come down on Sessions big time. I'm sure we'll now hear about his "racism" and "good 'ole boy" network. If he has ever "misspoke" at some time in his career we'll hear about it. The goal of the left will be to make him the news and deflect attention from her rambling and contradictory statements. My question is, is it proper for a Supreme Court Justice nominee to lie under oath?

He's from Alabama - he has to be a racist right?

Yep, the boys with the Southern accents did the pushing today, which is what the media wants. To them it's inherent that they won't like her. They can say: "See, they still don't get it down there....." At the opening yesterday one of the speakers (Leahy?) made reference to the Southern senators - an obvious media set-up for the questions to come from Sessions and Graham.

In answer to Rick's question - any BO nominee can lie, and make sure you haven't paid any taxes too
