Take a moment to click on and study this chart. What's really scary is to note the point where the total federal revenues line meets the entitlements line. Entitlements are just one part of the federal budget. What's not included are defense spending, education, infrastructure, etc. What will our children and grandchildren do in 2052? Think about it.

2052? At the rate these drunken sailors spend 2052 could arrive much much sooner.
That's the point of the chart, which is based on entitlements only. Factor everything else they're spending money on and planning to spend money on, and 2052 will come during our lifetime.
