Anti-capitalism protesters at G20Received this email today concerning the blog from a former liberal commenter:
Could not convince (name deleted) to join your bog...he checked out the blog, says he can't argue with someone who believes FDR did nothing positive for the country(some past discussion he had with you I guess), so even though he said you are a nice guy(I reassured him), you are on his "talk about the weather only" (list). I can argue the FDR policy stuff all day but I just can't waste time responding to birther mania(the holocaust museum killer was a charter member) postings and all the tea bagger stuff, the health care / 9-12 Obama protest rallies with the Viper militia members(wearing McVeigh's T-shirt slogan) walking around with guns, and especially when all the rally nuts are holding signs with Obama in white face makeup, Hitler references, references to Africa origins , demeaning signs calling him BO(hmmm, body odor?), and other references to make him someone "alien", not like us, etc. -why don't they just finish Joe Wilson's sentence and say "boy"?.... this goes way beyond policy/governance arguments.... so I am outta here(blog wise and geographically)..... Just to be clear, neither I nor (name deleted) think you are a member of the Viper militia/birther movement or share their extreme views !! We just can't participate in a blog that portrays them as worthy of listening to or as being part of mainstream America.....it's a waste of time for us to respond.... I(and America) survived 8 years of Bush-you will make it also, and maybe only serve a 4 year liberal sentence if you are lucky!!
I stood and took the hits for "W" for eight years. These guys weren't willing to defend Obama for even one year. Says something, doesn't it?

So their opinion seems to be: "There are a bunch of kooks on the extreme right, so therefore we support BO and his socialist agenda."
Too bad there aren't any kooks on the extreme left.
Just wondering - If tax cuts for small businesses would help unemployment, would they support it? I doubt it. It's a fact that it does so they really don't care about the unemployed do they? How can they be so uncaring?
That's too bad. I presume it's Vance and I always enjoyed his comments. I have friends with similar viewpoints but we still agree to disagree. They haven't dumped me into the right-wing, hate-filled, racist neo-nazis camp yet. Actually, one guy has started to open his eyes a little - call it a aquint - when I was pointing out the backgrounds of some of the czars. He thought I was making facts up, that people like that can't be in gov't. I told him to turn off "Cash Cab" and watch some damn news...
