I say we go after all bonuses given to any firm that has accepted bail out money. Truer words were never spoken:

"An auto worker making $60,000 a year is not going to drive people crazy, but some snot-nosed 32-year-old making three-quarters of a million dollars and whining about it, that's going to make people crazy," said Alan Johnson, managing director of Johnson Associates, a Wall Street pay consultancy.

There should be NO bonuses given to anyBODY of ANY company given bailout funds. Wait. Did NWA execs get bonuses during the bankruptcy? I think some did in the form of stock. Help me out here, Vance.

oh yeah..bonuses were "needed" to retain "the best and the brightest" so they wouldn't bail during bankruptcy....and then they sold the company and most bailed anyway......

You have to wonder - if they are the "best and the brightest" how did they get into such a predicament. So much fingerpointing. The bailout money is manna from heaven to these guys. I realize these acts aren't criminal - but they sure are obscene. Of course they don't want any oversight or accountability, look at what they can do - what a sham
