What's with these Democratic Governors?

First we have New Jersey governor, Jim McGreevey, who resigned after having a gay affair.
Then, New York governor, Eliot Spitzer, buying prostitutes.
Now it's Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. Of the three Blagojovich is the most disgusting. He literally was attempting to sell former Senator Barack Obama's US Senate seat, amongst many other racketeering charges. He and Obama have been friends and involved in Illinois politics together for several years. It would be interesting to see a detailed investigation into their relationship . Of course that will never happen.

The Dem. governor track record is now worse than the Republican senators for the last two year anyway:"wide stance" Larry Craig and Vitner from La.(blue hooker babe bayou country). As to Obama and his Illinois Gov. "pal", the blog post is not even close to being accurate:

"The arrest this morning of Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich has sparked intense discussion in the political universe over how great a taint his ethical follies will have both on the next Illinois Senator and Barack Obama.

The governor, accused of seeking cash for the political appointment of Obama's Senate replacement, is not a close associate of the President-elect. Indeed, in the affidavit, Blagojevich called Obama a "motherf....r" for wanting him to appoint an official that the governor either did not like or wouldn't receive money from. Local news reports, meanwhile, suggest that it was Obama chief-of-staff Rahm Emanuel who blew the whistle on the governor."

I am convinced that it is impossible to be a politician without having criminal tendencies; especially in Chicago. BO will probably come out of this unscathed unless Blagojovich decides to throw dirt on that quote unquote "XX**%#er" I think this will get more interesting when Blago realizes he's backed into a corner.
Vance - you forgot Ted Stevens.

Wait!!...it could soon be 4-3(Repubs. lead):

"The Twin Cities Pioneer Press reports that a probe has been launched into Minnesota Sen. Norm Coleman's ties to businessman Nasser Kazeminy:

Federal investigators are looking into allegations that a longtime friend and benefactor tried to steer money to U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman, the Pioneer Press has learned.

Agents with the FBI have talked to or made efforts to talk to people in Texas familiar with the allegations, according to a source familiar with the situation.

Houston is where the first of two lawsuits was filed alleging Nasser Kazeminy, a Bloomington financier, tried to steer $100,000 to Coleman via his wife's Minneapolis employer. The second suit, filed in Delaware, alleges Kazeminy initially tried to get money directly to the senator.

Both Coleman and Kazeminy have denied any wrongdoing, and Coleman last month said he welcomes an investigation.

Neither Coleman nor his office has been contacted by the FBI, spokesman LeRoy Coleman said Tuesday morning.

"We have not been contacted by any law enforcement or investigative authority on this matter," he said."

Why would Blogo be so angry with the Obama group? Could it be he was promised something early on and then didn't receive it? Why is Emmanuel in hiding? How did Hannity get all those pictures of Blogoyovich and Obama together in all sorts of different settings? Why would Emmanuel be the one blowing the whistle on Blogo? Why would he care? Why now? Who's Sam Stein? Wouldn't it be nice to trace the money trail for Obama's campaign? Who were all those foreign contributors?

I think we should eliminate the sex scandals because of course, it's just about sex, so it doesn't matter, and concentrate on corruption. I say the score is tied 1-1. Ted Stevens, Rod Blogoyovich. However, Democrats lead because technically, a Governor represents more people in the state than a Senator. Fair enough?
