Career Progression

757

787

Time for a change. I've put my "bid" in to fly the Boeing 757 when the next vacancy become available. I flew this aircraft for 6 years as a First Officer and it's a great airplane to fly. Northwest flies the 757 to Europe and Asia in addition to my favorite trips to the west coast, Mexico, and the Caribbean. My plan is to fly the 757 for a couple of years and then move up to the brand new, state of the art, Boeing 787 which should start arriving next year. I would fly the 787 until I retire in 2016. At least that's the plan. Of course, we all know God's response to our plans.

Those international gigs sure sound like they'd be fun.

And that verse is on the inside of my Academy class ring (through verse 13, actually).

Man, I have so much to learn. After reading your responses, I went to Jeremiah 29 in my Bible and found I had HIGHLIGHTED verses 11-13! They are such inspirational words, I can't believe I didn't recall them. I will from now on.

What a wise thing to do, Justin, to engrave verse 13 in your Academy ring. I had my name engraved in mine in case I left it on the sink in some bar somewhere. You are so far ahead of where I was at your point in your life. I am very proud of you, Justin.
