The Greatest US Open ever! *UPDATE*

That's what the experts are saying. I was fortunate enough to watch virtually the entire tournament. (I know, no life.) Images from Torrey Pines are still on my mind. Michelson on the 13th taking a nine, Tiger's knee injury, Tiger's chip-in, Tiger's super putts, Rocco's chatter and smiles. Rocco didn't win, but after forcing Tiger's two comebacks on the 18th hole to finally win in sudden death, he forced Tiger to earn it like he never has before. Tiger said it was his greatest win. That's from a man who's had a few. It was the best golf tournament I have ever watched. Neither one of them gave up and fought virtually to the last putt. Congrats to Tiger and Rocco. And thanks for giving me something to do this weekend. ;-) *UPDATE* Turns out that not only was Tiger dealing with the knee problem, he was also dealing with stress fractures in his lower leg. They figure he walked about 22 miles during the tournament. We'll not see him the rest of the season. Gutsy guy, I'd say.

I was trying to watch the playoff while the physical therapist was here and caught most of it. I was pulling for Rocco big time. I'm a little tired of all the Tiger mania,

I think Rocco feels like he fought 12 rounds against a guy with one arm tied behind his back - and still lost....

I do not like Tiger any more. His whining, his cursing and his throwing of the clubs reminds me too much of myself quite a few years ago.
