I won!

Now that I've got your attention, I just wanted to thank the good commissioner, Justin, for setting up the NCAA tourney bracket competition and offer my congratulations on winning it. I do NOT believe there is a connection there. ;-) However, I would also like to congratulate myself along with Mike for being tied for 1st with the MOST CORRECT. This was a kick! Because of the competition generated in this family over these silly brackets, I (and Clay) had a blast watching the tournament. I'll never forget Clay's leaping to his feet with arms raised when Kansas #15 sunk the 3 pter as regulation ended last night. Also having the ladies compete made it fun. Way to go, Mary, for finishing last. There should be a prize for last place. (By the way, what IS the prize? I know, this year it's an all expenses paid cruise in the Caribbean.) Anyway, thanks to Justin for setting this up. I certainly hope this will be an annual tradition.

I agree...it was fun! 32 points for picking the winner??
I too raised to my feet on that shot except I yelled "Ohhhh crap." I had already cleared a place on the mantle for the trophy, although I never saw it. Since "the commissioner" just happened to win, I'm sure the grand prize will be much nicer than we anticipated.

I'm glad everyone had fun. We will definitely make it an annual event. Thanks for the enthusiasm.

You must remember, however, that the commissioner is also charged with purchasing the prize. It will be nice, but it won't be extravagant.
