My favorite throughout the competition has been Kristy Cook because I'm a real country music fan and she's . . . well, she's country. After last night's drubbing from Simon, I didn't think she had a chance. I'm glad she's still in it. However, I predict Carly Smithson will win it. (Can someone from Ireland win AMERICAN idol? Just a thought.)

She's from Ireland but lives in San Diego. I thought the Filipino girl would be leaving who was my original pick.
