This actually happened,

I think. We had Christmas' like this one growing up. Really. I have fond memories of going to Grandma's house for Christmas Eve. It was such a fun tradition. All of us children received pajamas from Grandma and Grandpa on Christmas Eve. And I always loved them. I wore them to bed that night to wait for Santa and always had them on opening gifts on Christmas morning. This Christmas was very different from those chaotic family get togethers. This year it was my son, Clay, and I opening gifts together on Christmas Day. I wouldn't trade it for any Norman Rockwell Christmas. I am truly blessed. Merry Christmas to all!

Is that Lucky in the picture jumping up on Kay? Clay is blessed to have such a great Dad!

No, that's "Ringo". He'll be ripping packages apart shortly.

yes...Ringo - the definition of "bite the hand that feeds you." I bet he was a nice dog before Dad & Charles got a hold of him.

Sorry I'm late on this one, but I truly remember those Christmas Eves. The "fire" in the fireplace, the electric candles in the windows and Grandma always had some kind of wierd candy that I can't recall. I agree, Ringo was never the same after Snook and Dad

I think that's where I was first introduced to fruit cake. I think the candles in the windows were blue. I know they were at our house on Angel Terrace.
