Election Day

I have always loved election days. I'll never forget the Presidential election of 1960 between Nixon and Kennedy. Guess who I was rooting for at the young age of 9? Yep. You got it. Nixon. Why? I thought Kennedy talked funny. I still do.

Today's elections in New York, New Jersey, and Virginia will be a victory for Conservative ideals. What no one is talking about is the result in New York. With the election of the conservative independent in District 23, conservatives throughout the country who are considering running will take the next step. They now know they'll get the support they need. The snowball is getting it's first nudge down the mountain tonight. It's only going to get bigger and bigger and gaining momentum every day. And that's a very good thing. We all need to get involved to keep it rolling.

Oops. The Democrat won in the 23rd Congressional District in New York. HOWEVER, could the fact that the RINO who was originally endorsed as the Republican candidate, withdrew from the race, ENDORSED THE DEMOCRAT, was still on the ballot not once, but TWICE, and received 5% of the vote, have anything to do with the Conservative losing? Hmmm . . . My original premise still stands. This conservative accountant came out of nowhere and almost won the race. At the bare minimum he eliminated the RINO. That's worth the loss as far as I'm concerned.

Very encouraging. District 23 results should be thrown out. What a mess that was.
