These people are not elected. There is no oversight of their authority. They are not part of any Constitutional branch of our government. Most earn 6 digit salaries at the taxpayers' expense. Wake up, America!
I think a lot of people read your blog, but choose not to leave coments-at least that is true for me. I appreciate your thoughts and the time you spend writing. You bring some vey scary ideas to light about Obama and his design for the country.
That piece is revealing but does not delve into whom some of these guys are. No one has ever paid much attention to them in past presidencies (all have had them to some extent to oversee programs or legislation), but they have become of particular concern in this administration due to the sheer number and of what unknown power they wield. This has resulted in a scathing letter from our buddy Robt Byrd of WVa for the sidestepping of Congressional approval as needed for Cabinet or Supreme Court positions. Bush would have never gotten away with this. More importantly, and I believe I'm correct, they are not vetted by the FBI, resulting in a Natonal Security issue (McCain brought this up in a town hall mtg the other day) Granted, some are well-known public servents, but others are of very questionable character. Activists are one thing, revolutionaries are something else. If you liked Rev. Wright, You'll gonna love Van Jones....
