Looks like CNN is trying to counter the Tea Party non-event-be sure not to miss this show on the 29th...I'm sure Fox will cover it as well(Grit Hume special). Be sure to set up your TiVo/VCR recorder for this one guys:

NEW YORK (AP) -- CNN is marking President Barack Obama's 100th day in office with prime-time coverage that will recall last year's primary and general election nights, right down to John King's magic wall.

The network says it will compile a national report card of Obama's performance, using opinion polls and a series of viewer surveys.

The big night is April 29, a week from this Wednesday, pre-empting regular programming.

Most of the anchors and commentators who were CNN regulars on political nights last year will appear.

''This is the perfect day to have commentary about how the president is doing and the perfect day to ask the public how they think the president is doing,'' said Sam Feist, CNN's political director. He's been planning the 100th and 200th day specials since shortly after the election.

The 100-day marker is a journalistic contrivance often used to evaluate new administrations. CNN is giving extra importance to this one because of the two wars and economic meltdown.

ABC News is planning to mark the day with reporting on ''Good Morning America,'' ''World News'' and ''Nightline,'' a spokeswoman said. Other television networks haven't made their plans clear.

CNN will review actions taken by the Obama administration and give viewers a chance to grade him, the Cabinet and Congress, Feist said.

''It's going to have the energy and excitement of an election night,'' Feist said.

I can sum up his first 100 days easily. He has done all the same stuff Bush did, except worse. He appointed Doogie Houser as Sec'y of Treasury. The deficit has been tripled, if not quadrupled. He put our program for achieving energy independence in the crapper. The War on Terror goes on. Osama is still at large. He asked for 84 billion for the War in Iraq. He pissed off Muslims worldwide by blowing the brains out of 3 teenagers. He kissed the Europeans butt and got nothing for it. He kissed South American despots' butts and got nothing for it. He obscenely bowed to a Saudia Arabian king. He gave the Queen of England an Ipod while his wife walked all over protocol. Iran showed him up with the continuance and expansion of their nuclear program. North Korea showed him up with the continuance and expansion of their nuclear program. He still can't salute. And probably most importantly, he got a puppy. CNN will make him out to be Abraham Lincoln reincarnated.

Oops, I left out the de-testicling of Defense and Intelligence, and the nationalization of the auto and banking industries. (Watch out oil and communications, you're next). Oh yeah, and he's got a new BFF, one Hugo Chavez.
