Who's the messia-, er, the President rooting for?

It's a tradition for the President to NOT root for a particular team in the Super Bowl. It's the smart thing to do politically. Well, so much for tradition or doing the smart thing politically (again). Obama has announced he's rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Says he's friends with the Rooneys. Does the fact the Steelers have a black head coach have anything to do with it? Nah, couldn't be. I wonder who Colin Powell is rooting for? Maybe it's because Arizona is John McCain's home state. Or maybe it's because the polls say Pittsburgh's going to win. If the Cardinals win will they be invited to the White House? Who knows? Guess who I'm rooting for.

What a cheesy photo. I would have liked to have had him running the ball when I was a linebacker. I would have leveled him.

"Does the fact the Steelers have a black head coach have anything to do with it?" Probably not as much as the fact that Rooney is a rich "white guy" and supported Obama big time. I sense a little too much "negrophobia" creeping into this whole blog site!! Let's get away from playing this race card!

Ask black America who they voted for and then ask them why. Sorry. Race had a great deal to do with the election of Barack Obama. The point I was making is Obama's PUBLIC rooting for a team with a black coach has racial connotations that would never have been noticed had he just kept his mouth shut about who he was rooting for. I don't care what color the President is. Obama is just as much as white as he is black, but he's called the first black President. What's that all about? Why isn't he called the first white President with a black father? I'll tell you why. Because HE played the race card and the media bit - hook, line, and sinker! Why? Because, first of all the media has a liberal bias, and second of all, they wanted to be the ones reporting on the first "black" President. If there is a "phobia" on this blog, it's the phobia of an inexperienced President showing poor judgement and making REALLY stupid decisions (i.e, Super Bowl favorite, cabinet and stimulus (pork) bill) By the way, I've got NO problem with Michael Steele as the head of the RNC. Shhh . . . Don't tell anybody. He's an "African American." Guess we redneck, racial, backwoods, dumbsh-t, hick conservatives better put our sheets away.

Which brings me to another point. "Let's get away from playing this race card." One can't help but wonder how often the "race card" will be played by the liberals in response to criticisms of Obama and his judgment. 95% of all black voters voted for Obama. You tell me, who's being racial?

He's a 'bro"-of course they'll vote for him- unless of course his politics were to mirror those of the non-bro, Clarence Thomas, who still can't figure out who he is.

Doesn't know who he is? You're not implying he's an Uncle Tom because he didn't vote for Obama, are you? Careful, careful. ;-)
