Left His Mother's Wake to Vote

Senator Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) was whisked from his mother's wake in Ohio to Washington, DC in a government paid for jet late Friday night to vote for the biggest spending spree in this country's history. Why? Because they needed EVERY Democratic vote to pass this pork rind. Were it not for 3 RINOS who interestingly enough received some of the largest amount of earmarks, this country would've have taken a much more rational approach to fixing the economy. WE WILL PAY THE PRICE FOR THIS MONSTROSITY! In an orgy of power grabbing greed, the Democratic controlled (since 2006 when our problems started) US Congress, now aided by a Castro inspired President has created a TRILLION plus dollar recipe for economic disaster for this country not only in the near future, but for generations to come. Do not forget, this money is not coming from our national treasury or Obama's bank account, IT IS BORROWED! Much of it from The People's Republic of China. But wait. That's okay. They're Communists. We can trust them now. Because if the Democrats Enthused for Manifestos of Socialism (DEMS) have their way, we'll be the United States Socialist Republic (USSR, sound familiar?) in no time. I truly have never been so frightened for the future of this country as I am now. The threat of 9/11 and the terrorists is minuscule compared to what these people want to do to our way of life. You wait and see. Next item on their agenda - The Fairness Doctrine. Gotta get those dissidents in talk radio out of circulation. Obama could have done nothing more to divide this country than he has done in his first month of office.

What's worse? Borrowing one trillion dollars to bail out a country of 300 million(our own people) vs. borrowing a trillion(200 billion/yr. since 2003) to try and keep Sammy Sunni from shooting Sonny Shia thereby spreading freedom and preventing a Muslim D-day invasion of Miami beach? Either way it's debt and at least this time we are spending it on our own roads, buildings, and schools!! The defense rests....case closed..bill passed.....relax, it will be all better in about 12-18 months.....

What's worse is doing BOTH. But you're right. It's all said and done. I suppose in 12-18 months when everything's down the crapper, it will still be Bush's fault.

If everything is down the crapper in 12-18 months, I will have to emerge from "retirement", and then I will be competing with you for first dibs at a job bagging groceries at Byerly's or night shift greeter at Walmart! Barack don't fail me now!!

Perish the thought.

We don't need BO for things to improve. The market place needed to purge itself of all the bad loans and lousy business practices. It would have corrected itself - probably quicker - without a monster spending bill. We'll still be fighting a war in 18 months too. That will be never ending. Also is it not the job of the feds to build hotels, ATV trails, disk golf courses, renovate club houses for golf courses, or buy film for hollywood movies? Only about 12% of this bill is designed to stimulate anything. the bill will cost about $1.2 trillion after intrust and will create only about 4 million jobs that is over $300,000 per job!!! Not to mention the Republican ideas were completely shot down in the name of non-partisanship.
