Another one bites the dust

The hits just keep on rolling don't they? I was wondering how long Senator Gregg, the second Commerce Secretary nominee to withdraw from nomination, would be able to put with the Socialist power grab that is emanating from the Obama Administration. First the "stimulus bill", then the White House seizure of the Census Bureau (which reminds one of the shenanigans that took place in the German Chancellorship in 1938). Obviously, it didn't take long for Gregg to realize he wanted no part of the lemmings running off the cliff. Good job, Senator. I really am losing count of the number of failed attempts by Obama to build a cabinet. I think it's up to a dozen now if you count assistant secretaries. The man just oozes leadership and management abilities, doesn't he? Must be all that executive experience he has. I know, BO. This wasn't the way things worked in the 'hood when you were organizing the community, was it? Well, one thing for sure. You'll go down as the only President in history to spend more in the first month of his Presidency in one bill than the entire US Government budget spent last year. Seems like I remember the Dems giving Bush a hard time about the deficit. Oh, how I long for the last 8 years of overall economic growth. Stay tuned for the Democratic character assassination to follow . . .

This Judd Gregg thng is hilarious! First, 10 days ago he's begging for a job to finish up a few more years of federal service for a bigger pension(he is behind in polls for reelection in 2010). Then, he spends a week catching flack from the right and tries to convince them he's not a RINO(Rep. in name only)....then he finds out Obama is not dumb enough to let him manipulate the census in favor of more Republican districts(Dems won, they get to manipulate!)...refuses to vote on the stimulus bill, then suddenly finds out that, gee, I will be working in a DEMOCRATIC administration-one that does not share certain values with the Right Wing(little things like strong public education, health care for all citizens, constitutional rights for all in the areas of personal privacy, right to unionize, etc. etc). However, despite all the noise and Republican gender confusion lately, after one inning it is still Obama 1(recovery plan) and Party of Rush 0.

If BO is so smart, why did he choose Gregg to begin with? Was it because he was the only person he could find without tax problems? Now that's hilarious.

Believe me, we know what RINOS are. I knew the character assassination would start right away. I don't believe he "begged" for the job. In fact the Obama administration had to cut a deal with him to even get him to consider the position. So do you really believe ANY administration would allow the Sec'y of Commerce to manipulate the Census Bureau? Let's see if BO takes the CB out of White House control now that Gregg is no longer the nominee for Commerce. Yeah, I think he did have a problem with the Dems values (Big Government, high taxes, weak military, gay marriage, killing the unborn, government takeover of private industry, socialism, fairness doctrine, giving illegals the right to vote, welfare, etc.) Obama made be ahead in the score, but he's still the loser.
