The Most Powerful Person in the World

Obama's mother in law, Mrs. Robinson, as the President calls her, is taking up residence in the White House along with the First Family. As if the job of President of the United States is not stressful enough. I remember when my grandmother moved in with my mom, dad, and brother after I had left. I was wondering if my parents' marriage would survive. It did. Barely. Mothers in law have the ultimate weapon - passive aggressiveness. A remark here and a remark there and you wonder why you're going crazy. Ask President Truman. Well, you can't because obviously he's dead. But it was common knowledge his mother in law did not like her daughter's husband. She felt that her daughter had married beneath her social status. President Truman handled her quite well, however. He just gave her everything she wanted. Now that's power.
I have nothing further to say.

You had no idea what is was like living with Nana. You had moved out. It actually turned out to be a good thing as far as I was concerned. She let me drive her car whenever I wanted and she took care of me after my multiple knee surgeries. And her farts that slipped out were actually pretty funny.
