Republicans dealing with facts while the Democrats deal with emotions. In this day and age - the facts lose.

There it is - plain and simple. Politicians behaving like politicians. Their "outrage" at being questioned on the lending practices of these cash cows is disusting. Really makes you want to pop 'em square in the nose

If only we could be so lucky as to have this 55% lunatic fringe calling the shots for the G.O.P.alin for the next 20 years:

Poll: Republicans Want Party To Be Like Palin
By Eric Kleefeld - February 2, 2009, 11:34AM

A new Rasmussen poll further demonstrates that the GOP could be in for a long stretch in the wilderness: A majority of GOP voters now say that the party should be more like Sarah Palin.

The numbers: 55% of Republicans say the party should be like Palin, compared to 24% who say they should be like John McCain.

As I've previously noted, poll data like this could indicate that the Republican Party is getting ready to relive the classic cycle of ruling parties who get turned out of power in a landslide: With the party base itself shrunk down, the people who are still around are the most hard-line members, and are really the least fit people to fix the situation.

Maxine who?? I don't think whe is representative of a party's position on a majority of issues.....Dems' agenda can't be all bad-Judd Gregg is coming over to "hep them out"!

Gregg is a respected Senator. I can't believe he's going to jeopardize his Senate seat in a couple of years to be a B-level cabinet member. I'll give Obama credit. He'll probably end up with his fillibuster-proof Senate sooner rather than later if he keeps making moves like this one. I don't understand why Gregg decided to do this. He probably hopes he can "convert" Obama. Not likely.
