Just answer the question - truthfully.

Why can't the man just tell the truth? There are no misrepresentations here - just questions. Reminds one of the "I did not have sex with that woman" days. I believe there were promises made and not kept. That's why Blogojevich was so angry. The Obama Administration is already in trouble and he hasn't even taken office yet. Now that's change we can believe in!

"I don't want to comment because this is an on-going investigation."
Translation: "ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah.... I'm afraid to say anything because they have the idiot Emanuel on tape so I'm already in deep ____."

We'll see next Monday....after all the prosecutor did request that no info be released till next week---and no, not as per Fox news reports that it is "questionable" whether Fitzgerald made this request. He has confirmed this in a written statement so I guess Obama decided to comply. So for now he is forced to use the standard Bush line,"I can't comment". Funny how Bush used that all the way thru the Valerie Plame fiasco, then when Scooter boy was convicted, he still couldn't comment because, "it is over"....no taking responsiblity, no firing of others who were involved but not convicted as he had promised to do.....I think Bush could be the star on "The Biggest Loser".

Let's wait until BO's term is over to decide who the biggest loser is.

Typical weak liberal distraction - comparing the Valerie Plame case with the Blogojevich/Obama case. There is no comparison. Blogo's crimes overshadow Scooter Libby's process crime many times over. The reason Fitzgerald made this request was to investigate the information the Obama people released. Some of it apparently is "questionable". Funny how the "biggest loser" defeated not one, but two of the Democrats' "finest".

Is Sarah Palin "palling around" with a drug dealer in the meth capitol of Alaska(Wasilla)??

"The Anchorage Daily News reports that Sherry Johnston, mother of Levi Johnston, was arrested on Thursday:

A 42-year-old Wasilla woman was arrested Thursday at her home by Alaska State Troopers with a search warrant in an undercover drug investigation. Sherry L. Johnston was charged with six felony counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance.

Johnston is the mother of Levi Johnston, the Wasilla 18-year-old who received international attention in September when Gov. Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd, announced their teenage daughter was pregnant and he was the father. Bristol Palin, 18, is due on Saturday, according to a recent interview with the governor's father, Chuck Heath."

Yeah, they're best friends. But that's okay because our President is an admitted cocaine abuser.

I thought all that Bush admitted to was that when he was young and reckless, "he was young and reckless"...

I guess Obama was telling the truth(setting a new precedent vs. the last eight years)....much ado about nothing. Cancel the emergency....

Aides to President-elect Barack Obama will release a report this week exonerating incoming chief of staff Rahm Emanuel of any wrongdoing in the controversy surrounding Gov. Rod Blagojevich, ABC's George Stephanopoulos reports.

According to the report, Emanuel had only one "pro-forma" courtesy call with the embattled Illinois governor. Also, Emanuel is on tape telling Blagojevich's chief of staff that Obama would not offer any favors to induce the governor to choose Obama's favored candidate.

More from Stephanopoulos:

Sources also confirm that Emanuel made the case for picking Obama confidante Valerie Jarrett during at least one of the conversations [with Blagojevich's chief of staff John Harris]. In the course of that conversation, Harris asked if in return for picking Jarrett, "all we get is appreciation, right?" "Right," Emanuel responded.

Bottom line: these sources say that Obama's report, which is expected to be released this week, will confirm what Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald and President-Elect Obama have said -- and what Governor Blagojevich clearly believed: that Obama officials were not open to any kind of deal for the Obama Senate seat.
