If it wasn't a bird, then the only thing I can think of is . .
a defective radome that collapsed under the pressure of traveling through the atmosphere at 500+ mph. Other than that I haven't heard anything more than anyone else.
A friend of mine was flying a Convair 580 over South Dakota for Republic Airlines about 25 years ago and they took a goose in the windscreen. Hit him in the face. He ended up losing an eye. There was blood, guts, and feathers all over the cockpit. Fortunately, the copilot was able to land the airplane uneventfully in Sioux Falls.

Can a bird really do that much damage? Maybe a teradyctal?
Oh yeah, a bird could do that. Especially some of those big whooping cranes.
man...if it were to hit the windshield - you're in deep doo-doo. :)
