He's a good man.

I'm not a Catholic, but I have been a member of a Lutheran church for 15 years. I watched the papal service this afternoon which was held in Yankee Stadium. There is a lot of pomp and circumstance and liturgy and symbolism that I don't understand, but make no mistake about it, God was present today in the house that Ruth built. The music, the cheering, the total silence were all very inspired. Just watching and listening to the service, I could feel God's love there as the 56,000 worshippers cheered the Pope's presence. I do think there is a resurgence of faith in God today throughout the world. The popularity of evangelists such as Joyce Meyer, the Graham ministries and even the Hour of Power are indicative of the increase of spirituality today. All of these have been able to spread the Good News using the advances achieved in technology and I believe it will only increase. FOX News covered the entire festivities at Yankee Stadium today with the Pope and millions watched. Can you imagine the coverage when Jesus returns?

I'm still trying to process all this hoopla over the Pope. I think the most important thing he did while here was meet with the sexual abuse victims. He is a good man. He puts his pants on just like we do and the title of "Holy Father" is over the top but hiis message of reconciliation, love and human rights was needed.
