The sixth player on the court

A great coach, a great team, and maybe more importantly, great fans, all added up to a great run this season. My interest in Kentucky basketball piqued this year for a couple of reasons. First of all, the fanaticism of my family and second of all, the arrival of the former Kentucky basketball coach,Tubby Smith, here in Minnesota sparked my curiosity about what Kentucky fans thought about their team and their former coach. Needless to say, it was like taking a drink from a fire hose. These people are serious about their basketball. I couldn't help but get caught up in it. The stories, the injuries, the pressure, the never give up attitude, made watching KY basketball more enjoyable for me than any season I can remember (except maybe the Twins World Series runs). In summary, I'm SO looking forward to watching this team next year. Congrats Cats, on a great season!

Man...I love seeing these kind of posts. It really is a disease, and you don't get rid of it. Welcome to the fold. It's a lot of fun.
