Self Destruction

The Senator's performance in the Reagan Library Debate was atrocious! When presented with the truth, he just would not acknowledge it. I hate to say it, but it was Alzheimer-like. He really seems to have difficulty grasping facts. He speaks in generalities with very few, if any, specifics. He then became huffy and rude when confronted with the truth. Not very presidential at all. However, the media and moderates are falling all over themselves endorsing him. It's too bad.

I caught about an hour of the debate. I agree. (Great photo by the way.) I thought Romney looked and sounded very presidential. At one point, if I were Romney, I would have reached over and slapped McCain. Unlike President Bush, I see no humility in McCain. He comes across as arrogant to me. He looked tired as he leaned forward leaning on the table in front of him. At least Romney sat up straight. If McCain is the nominee the press will rip his age, health and energy level to pieces. I liked how Romney got the jab in regarding how McCain brought up the "timetable issue" (which is a non-issue to begin with) and called it the dirty politics of old inside Washington tactics. Poor Huckabee seemed like a kid with his hand raised trying to get a word in.
